The Piece of Texas website is having it's first big event at The Bone on Saturday night to launch our new Texas Music Podcast. We are going to have 5 local bands playing for only $5. 21 and over only please.

Rockin' at The Bone - A Partial Freakout in Deep Ellum

We went out to The Bone in Deep Ellum last night to hear two awesome bands. The second is A Partial Freakout. Their a blues, rock, funk band and they tore it up. They are playing all over town so after you give this a listen I suggest you get to their next show ASAP.

Rockin' at The Bone - The Sun Dogs in Deep Ellum

We went out to The Bone in Deep Ellum last night to hear two awesome bands. The first is the Sun Dogs. A local Dallas cover band. I'm not usually big on cover bands but these guys rocked it. They did everything from 70's to current songs (look for the John Mayer "Gravity" cover). I guess good musicianship and singing go a long way toward making a cover song/band work. Good work guys. Enjoy!
