iPhone launch at Northpark Apple Store

I'll be blogging the "event" until they sell me one, so chaeck back for updates.

7:45 am

I got here at about 7:30 a.m. and the line had already formed. I look to be about number 20 in line.
One interesting thing, the mall security is not allowing folks to have chairs for some reason. Some poor sap already showed up with one and had to truck back to his car to put it up.

8:40 am

A few more folks arrived and speculation has started as to how many phones the store will have. Also mall security has started to harass anyone that tries to take a picture or film anything. Yea! Northpark way to be a good host.

1:05 pm

We are up to about 90 people in line. Lots of folks gawking as they walk by. They moved the line away from the other store fronts into the middle and brought in poles with straps to corral us in. I'm getting to know a bunch of the folks around me in line, a good group so far...
