Posted by: mikeymikei was driving in to work this morning, when i heard once again this term of rescue dog or recsue pet.
this is term seems to be gaining in popularity, and i would submit that by definition, all pets are rescue pets unless you are geeves, prince charle's terrier and were born into the royal cotillion.
i am pro pets, just not sure when the pet owner began to get credit for rescuing his pet.
if you caught your dog after he jumped from a burning building, then you have a rescue pet.
